Collaborating with the global brand team at Rosewood Hotels, Jagat was tasked with developing a series of property films and stills for an expanding collection of hotels, including Rosewood Doha, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Miyakojima. Within every destination, we investigate the unique sense of place through the lens of evocative cinematography and purposeful visual imagery.
These films are shaped to evoke emotion - immersing the audience in atmosphere, texture, and tone. From the hush of a private villa to the rhythm of local experiences, each scene is designed to draw the audience deeper into the world of Rosewood.
Every aspect of life forms a story complete with a beginning, middle, and end. For each Rosewood property, Jagat crafted a series of archetype-led vignettes that celebrate the incidental: a glance, a gesture, a texture of place. Through fleeting glimpses and quiet observations, these films illuminate the emotional rhythm of daily life, elevated through an impressionistic lens.
Our stylistic approach combines tight cropping and abstract framing with moments of reflection, capturing the undercurrent and gentleness of discovery. Guided by Rosewood’s brand pillars of Art & Design, Culture, Place, The Self, and Taste, each vignette becomes a cinematic meditation on people, place, and ritual. From casting to final delivery, Jagat worked across every facet of creative and production execution ensuring each asset aligned with Rosewood’s global brand vision and the unique narrative of each property.
