NOBU RESIDENCES ABU DHABI / ALDAR PROPERTIES
Nobu Residences Abu Dhabi is a shared vision of Aldar, Nobu and a team of world-class architects and designers. Working closely together, sharing ideas, experience and expertise, the team are creating Nobu beachfront residences in Saadiyat Island Abu Dhabi, with an expected completion date of 2026.
This luxury space – with free-flowing interiors and a complementary palette of natural materials and finishes – will offer guests and visitors access to the beautiful Mamsha Beach, its waterfront promenade, four food and beverage venues including the first Nobu restaurant in Abu Dhabi, a state-of-the-art wellness and fitness centre, opulent swimming pools, and expansive event and conference facilities.
Commissioned by Noë & Associates, Jagat worked collaboratively with Nobu, Aldar and Noë to create a suite of film, stills and drone assets for Aldar and Nobu to utilise across TVC, print, website, social and other sales, and marketing channels.
Jagat covered an extensive shotlist to showcase the brands minimalist design, exquisite architecture, and interiors, curated amenities, and total commitment to service through providing wholistic production processes and creative direction, consistent with Nobu and Aldar’s elevated visual identity.
Filmed and shot onsite with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa within Nobu Singapore, and separately with the Aldar/Noë team in Abu Dhabi, the Jagat team brought to life a 90 second film and multiple stills images on the Nobu Residence, which at the time of production, was in the planned development phase.
With Nobu as the lead protagonist, flanked by a hero male and female, and a support cast of architects, artists and staff, the audience is taken on a journey throughout the Residence and its surrounding cultural and natural environment, entwining hospitality, a contemporary approach to design and minimal Japanese tradition.
These assets were created to inspire the audience through the intricate interplay of nature and culture, the devotion to service and ceremony, the pursuit of mastery and innovation, and the coexistence of sanctuary and celebration that define the Nobu Residence and the broader vision of Saadiyat Island.
