Accor Hotels Oceania

Following its 2018 acquisition of the Peppers Mantra Group, Accor identified a significant asset gap across the group’s portfolio. This drastically limited Accor’s ability to sell through their own distribution channels, and third-party websites.

In September 2019, ACCOR Apartments & Leases invited 30 global agencies to tender for a photography project spanning 93 properties across three brands in three different countries. The objective was not only to fill the identified asset gap, but also elevate image quality and consistency.

As the successful tenderer, JAGAT was given just five months to complete the task, which needed to be shot and delivered by March 31st 2020. By early November our preproduction and logistics phases were complete, and we had mobilised three approved photographers to commence.

Using a range of carefully selected industry-specific cloud-based platforms, we ensured a seamless production process—from call sheet creation and delivery, to file uploading, retouching, client review and final approval. Each photographer remained on the road throughout. Post-production began while concurrent and back-to-back shoots where executed, enabling a phased, ongoing delivery to the client for review, approval and final output.

Client Testimonial

“Jagat are an exceptional agency and I cannot recommend them highly enough. When we were looking for an agency to shoot 93 of our hotels within a 5 month period, the team at Jagat rose to the challenge. Georgie, Lauren and Jackson were outstanding throughout the entire process and became an extension of our marketing team to ensure the project was delivered on time and with exceptional results. They understand hotels, not just how to take high quality images of the rooms and outlets but also how to work with the operational teams on site. They managed each of the 93 shoots from start to finish, provided detailed run sheets, liaised with the hotel teams and then worked with the marketing team to ensure the images delivered were aligned with the guidelines to meet brand standards. I would have no hesitation to work with them again.”
